It's been a wild and exciting week! Two of our buyers successfully have contracts on homes. We are really excited for them and are looking forward to the closings. On top of that we have a new listing at 24857 Franklin Lane in Plainfield in the Auburn Lakes subdivision. This is just a few doors down from one we sold a few months ago. Buyers Market or Sellers Market?

Interesting week in the exciting world of Real Estate. We have been working with 2 buyers. We put in offers on 2 separate places. The next Buyer put an offer in on a Foreclosure property. It was a beautiful home in Romeoville. 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths only a few years old and in great condition. Our buyer offered $1000 over list price and was paying cash and the offer was rejected. The next buyer was also looking for a Foreclosure and they put in an offer for $10,000 over list price and was also paying cash and their offer was also rejected. Now I ask you.... Is this a buyers market or a sellers market? This week the Sellers certainly had the upper hand. But of course, that can all change in the blink of an eye in this mysterious shifting market.
